Challenges
TelyRx came to Siege Media with a clear product and almost no search authority to support it. As a newer brand competing against names like Amazon Pharmacy, it had significant ground to make up, with a domain rating (DR) of 23 and only a handful of new referring domains each month.
Siege Media ran a content marketing analysis at the start of the engagement and identified authority as the primary constraint on growth. With no comparison pages, alternatives pages, or roundups of online pharmacy options, decision-stage searchers had nowhere to land, and the blog itself was buried in the site footer.
The category also demanded a level of precision that some content programs never face. Sensitive health topics and tightly regulated terminology meant that every piece required extra care around describing services and costs, along with a clinical fact-check before publication. TelyRx had no proprietary data to build on, so the authority strategy would need to generate its own.
Growth summary
Siege Media built the program around the constraint we identified in the analysis. Authority came first. We fielded original consumer surveys and published the results as research reports, each quantifying a specific friction point in medication access. The Skipped Doses Report became the most-linked page on the TelyRx blog, earning 122 referring domains. Across the engagement, the site grew from 224 referring domains to 1,471, while DR climbed from 23 to 37.
Bottom-funnel content ran in parallel, targeting decision-stage queries the blog had never competed for. New comparison and alternatives content gave those searchers a reason to choose TelyRx. Blog traffic grew 135%, with monthly traffic value rising from $2.0K to $4.8K.
Condition-based content clusters replaced undifferentiated explainer pages, each carrying a pharmacist’s byline to strengthen E-E-A-T signals in a category where Google and AI engines both discount unattributed health advice.
Using Peec AI, we tracked how often AI engines mentioned TelyRx and six competitors across a fixed set of 20 nonbranded prescription and telehealth queries, measured from the start of the engagement. TelyRx was the only brand in the set whose AI visibility grew, rising 35% from its April baseline while every competitor declined. Six months in, TelyRx has a blog that ranks for decision-stage queries, a link profile that can support further growth, and proprietary data it owns outright.
