Panda Security struggled to build trust in a competitive U.S. market and didn’t have the capabilities in-house to scale content marketing. The company had a low link profile and was up against major players like McAfee and Kaspersky, meaning they had a lot of catching up to do in the U.S. market.

Panda Security originally contacted Siege Media to help with link building. Their goal was to build and maintain authority in a competitive cybersecurity space.

Siege Media also recognized the opportunity to create search-driven posts to rank and drive organic links. Then, we took a blended approach creating both link- and search-driven assets. Because of this, blog traffic quickly grew, and Siege-generated posts drove 82% of overall traffic to their media center. Siege Media also helped secure 16,053 links, both from organic and manual efforts.

As part of the content marketing strategy, Siege Media created various SEO-focused and link building content appealing to different audience bases. The content we focused on included long-form guides, infographics, surveys, and tutorials. This allowed us to reach not only tech sites that could amplify the content but also family and education sites.

Overall, Siege Media has had a major impact on Panda Security, assisting with an average monthly traffic value growth of $5,179,356 since the beginning of our engagement. In this same amount of time, Siege assisted in driving an average organic monthly traffic of 207,175 — resulting in a total of 4,676,972 Siege-assisted organic traffic visits to the English language media center.
