Reddit’s website traffic rank globally

Reddit is the most commonly cited source within the prompts that matter. When a prospect asks an LLM “what’s the best [your category]?” a Reddit thread is increasingly the reference the model quotes back.

That makes Reddit the highest-leverage, lowest-priced visibility channel in marketing right now. It is also the easiest place to damage your brand.

The shortcut version of “Reddit marketing” — fake users, paid upvotes, undisclosed shilling — works until it doesn’t. Then Reddit’s spam systems catch it, the community calls it out publicly, the screenshots end up on r/HailCorporate, and the brand spends the next year apologizing.

We built our Reddit Marketing service to be the opposite of that. Disclosed accounts. Real expertise. Genuinely useful contributions in the subreddits your buyers actually trust. The kind of brand presence that compounds: more customers via the communities where influence happens today, more positive mentions when those same threads get cited in LLMs tomorrow.

What we do

Five workstreams. One strategy.

Reddit-for-LLM strategy

We start by reverse-engineering the threads. For every buying-intent query your prospects ask an LLM (“best [X] for [use case],” “[competitor] alternatives,” “is [your product] worth it?”) we map which Reddit threads — and which subreddits — the AI answers are already pulling from.

That becomes your target list. We score each community on traffic, AI-citation frequency, brand tolerance, audience alignment and moderator posture, then prioritize where your team should show up, what to post, and what to leave alone.

The deliverable is a 12-month Reddit roadmap that ties every community to a specific LLM, SEO and direct-conversion outcome. Not a vibes-based “let’s be on Reddit” plan.

Branded account management & community presence

We operate disclosed, transparent brand accounts inside your highest-priority subreddits, built and aged by senior strategists who actually know your category, not interns running a sock-puppet farm.

What this looks like in practice: thoughtful contributions to “best X” threads, expert AMAs coordinated with moderators in advance, original research dropped into the right communities for free, and a branded subreddit (r/YourBrand) seeded and moderated to your community’s actual norms.

Reddit Ads (paid social)

Run by a senior Reddit Ads specialist, not a generalist running playbooks built for Meta. Conversation Ads, Promoted Posts, custom audiences, retargeting and brand-tracking lift studies, paired with the organic presence above so paid amplifies what’s already working in your communities, instead of crashing in cold.

This piece fits almost every brand with Reddit in its top ten source domains. If you sell to a real human audience, Reddit ads most likely belong in your paid social mix.

The LLM influence thought process: if we can generate more happy customers that come from the communities that post “best X” threads, the more positive recommendations you’ll get in them when they happen next.

Community management & sentiment

For brands with active customer communities or recurring brand mentions, we run ongoing sentiment monitoring and response, surfacing every brand mention across Reddit, prioritizing what needs a human reply, and handling the response in-thread.

That means defusing negative threads before they go viral, answering customer questions in the spaces where they’re actually being asked, and contributing to a sentiment baseline that makes your repeat-purchase rate go up and protects you when the same threads come up later in LLM answers.

This is the more selective workstream as it pays back hardest for brands with strong product-market fit, active mentions and a recurring customer base. We’ll tell you honestly if you’re not there yet.

Reddit-to-LLM attribution & reporting

Reddit can feel top-funnel, and in many ways, it is. However, with the right attribution stack, we’re confident in communicating the significant value these motions have to stakeholders.

  • Subreddit-level sentiment trendlines
  • Direct conversions attributed to Reddit
  • Halo effects from presence across all results
  • LLM share of voice in your category prompts
  • Citations earned on Reddit threads you’ve contributed to
  • Organic traffic and traffic value from Reddit-created content

You stop guessing whether Reddit is working. We quantify the impact.

Our differentiators

Full-service GEO, powered by brand-forward practitioners.

At Siege, we offer every service with significant impact to LLMs. One that crosses over heavily with Reddit is digital PR. We create differentiated thought leadership content and then distribute that in a Reddit-friendly way across communities on the network.

This gives the content additional legs while also building positive sentiment on-network, driving holistic value that lifts all channels.

Repurpose, reuse, grow.

On the content marketing front, our talented graphic design team creates differentiated, multi-modal assets that drive clicks in search and engagement within your Reddit community.

When you create a blog post, you don’t just get something that sits on your site, you get a distribution strategy that fuels impact across your customer ecosystem.

Who this is for

Reddit marketing built for brands with real reputations to protect.

Reddit Ads fits almost every brand who sees the company in their top three domain sources. Community Management is a more selective workstream, best fit for brands with active mentions, an existing customer base and product-market fit worth defending.

This is a fit if you...
  • See Reddit in your top three most-cited domains in LLM trackers. Top ten works too for larger brands.
  • Are a SaaS, fintech, finance or ecommerce brand where Reddit threads already drive buying decisions.
  • Are investing in SEO, GEO or content and want a Reddit presence that compounds those efforts.
  • Need a brand-safe approach you can defend to your legal team, your board, and the press.
This is not a fit if you...
  • Want fake accounts, paid upvotes or undisclosed shilling. We don’t do gray hat. Ever.
  • Don’t have a real product or real customers to stand behind. Reddit will find out.
  • Are looking for a “burner” Reddit campaign measured in weeks. We build presences measured in years.
  • Aren’t willing to invest in community engagement. To win, you need to bring consistent value through storytelling and Reddit-specific content.

Pricing

What Reddit marketing programs cost.

Our Reddit Marketing engagements typically start around $5,000–$15,000/month, depending on the scope of organic community work, paid spend management, vertical competitiveness and whether community management is in scope.

Reddit Ads budgets are separate and managed transparently. You also own the ad account and the data.

Most programs see direct conversions within 60 to 90 days, and a meaningful lift in LLM share of voice within six months. The direct-conversion line compounds behind it as community presence ages and trust accrues with more and more users on the service.

Frequently asked questions

Do you use fake accounts, paid upvotes, or anonymous "seeding"?

No. Never. Every account we operate is disclosed in its profile, run by a real Siege strategist with category expertise, and held to the same disclosure standard Reddit’s rules require. We don’t coordinate upvotes across employees, we don’t buy reviews, and we don’t pretend to be customers. The gray-hat playbook is the fastest way we know to permanently damage a brand. We’re not in that business.

How is this different from a digital PR or content marketing agency that "also does Reddit"?

Most agencies treat Reddit as a one-off placement or an afterthought to a digital PR campaign. We treat it as its own channel, with a dedicated team, its own playbook, and reporting tied to both direct conversions and LLM citation share. We’ve also published original research on how AI search engines cite Reddit content, so the strategy is informed by what’s actually working in the channel — not vibes.

Will this help our content show up in ChatGPT, Claude and AI Overviews?

Yes. That’s a core point of the service. The threads we contribute to, the subreddits we build presence in, and the brand mentions we earn are the exact same content LLMs are training on and citing in real time. We track your share of voice in AI answers monthly alongside Reddit-attributable conversions.

Can you run our branded subreddit (r/YourBrand)?

Yes, for brands where it makes sense. We help you set up the subreddit, write rules that reflect your community’s real norms, seed it with genuinely useful content before launch, and moderate it without burying legitimate criticism.

A dedicated community most often makes the most sense if you have a reasonably sized audience, repeat customers, and a truly loved product within your customer base that also frequents the network.

What's the minimum commitment?

We have a six-month minimum. Reddit influence compounds, and the first 60 days are foundation work. The following 90 are for creative optimization, although you should reliably expect to see your first conversions in three months time. Community trust is unfortunately not built on a 30-day pilot, and data from Profound shows that the average post cited is one year old.

Will community management work for our brand?

It pays back hardest for brands with active customer mentions, an existing community presence, strong product-market fit, and sentiment worth protecting. If you’re earlier than that or your mention volume is too low to justify dedicated monitoring, we’ll point you to the paid workstreams first and revisit community management once the rest is working.
