While they were an established leader in the second home space, they were struggling to bring in a broader audience to increase blog engagement and high-quality backlinks to improve their overall Domain Rating (DR). Since the Home and Real Estate industry is competitive, Pacaso wanted a partnership that mirrored the fast growth of their company with fast growth on the SERP.

Siege executed a Keyword Opposition to Benefit (KOB) Analysis that prioritized keywords centered on promotable content appealing to luxury homeowners — Pacaso’s main audience — while providing high link-generation promise to meet Pacaso’s link-building goals.

Siege centered the content strategy on the lifestyle of second home owners and aspirational second home owners through promotable assets and outreach. We prioritized the creation of data-driven posts, printables, and other downloadable content like long-form guides to cater to luxurious lifestyles — like these posts about snowbird destinations or how to buy a house in another state.

We also created interactives and updated Pacaso’s existing content with top-notch design assets and promotables to take their content to the next level.

The strategy paid off, as 30 posts quickly ranked on Page One. Our interactive Second Home Calculator brings in nearly 1,000 users in organic traffic per month, with an organic traffic value of $2,800. The Siege-created post, Vrbo vs. Airbnb and its informational visual ranks on Page One and accounts for $2,400 in monthly traffic value.

Ultimately, Siege identified opportunities for Pacaso to expand its content offerings into tangential markets, high-end news, and city-focused outlets while maintaining its strong presence in the second home space.
