ContractSafe approached Siege after using an agency that only delivered beginner-type articles that solely focused on the researcher/paralegal persona and was never able to nail their engaging tone. They were cautious about working with another agency because they wanted more than keyword targeting — they wanted conversions from a hands-on agency that offered more than basic reporting.

ContractSafe also had a swath of competitors who offered full contract lifecycle management, including pre-signature activities like contract authorship, workflows, and redlining. ContractSafe needed an agency to help them push past this competition and find success.

At the start of our engagement, we decided to take a full-funnel approach to our work with ContractSafe. We tackled high-value, high-priority top-funnel keywords such as “what is contract management” and “what is contract lifecycle management” to create brand awareness.

Because we focused on creating posts that satisfied basic search queries, traffic to the main ContractSafe website started compounding. Within the first six months of creating top-funnel posts, we increased the average organic traffic value from $17,066 to $43,602. 

Due to these top-funnel posts quickly ranking on Page One, ContractSafe started gaining authority in the contract management industry. This helped boost their overall Domain Rating from 47 at the start of our engagement to 56, where it stands today — an impressive boost of 9 points in only over a year. 

In the next phase of our engagement, Siege is focusing on creating bottom-funnel gated assets like the Signature Generator, as well as conversion-driven competitive content like ContractSafe vs ContractWorks.
