Challenges

MyOutDesk came to Siege Media to improve traffic and conversions and determine why pages weren’t ranking as high as they’d like. Tracking a user’s journey throughout their page was difficult because users would usually jump between many pages before leaving the site. They wanted advice on tracking conversions from their blog clearly and methodically.

MyOutDesk also had concerns about how their existing posts seemed to cannibalize each other. Multiple blog posts on their website needed to be combined, and they requested that Siege Media perform an in-depth content audit from our SEO professionals to increase traffic and conversions throughout the site.

The results

Growth summary

We kicked off our engagement with MyOutDesk in May 2023. We focused on technical SEO and website design improvements and saw explosive growth in new users and sessions. We created brand new site designs for their product landing pages like Hire a Virtual Real Estate Assistant, Hire a Virtual Marketing Assistant, their blog home page, and others. Siege Media focused mainly on fixing navigational issues, incorporating dynamic, easy-to-follow design, and creating a clear hierarchy for each page we redesigned.

This astonishing increase in traffic throughout 2023 also increased average organic sessions year over year with an increase of 174% and a 168% increase in users. This organic traffic also increased the average monthly traffic value by $7K, from $15K in 2022 to $22K in 2023.

Additionally, the SEO team added pricing and more product details to landing pages, helping MyOutDesk rank higher and draw in more qualified leads. These successes are evident in their service pages for their industry, which now rank in the top three posts for each relevant target keyword.

Because of the help from Siege Media in 2023, MyOutDesk is also ranking in the Top 10 for “virtual assistant service,” a ranking that they haven’t achieved since 2021.
